We look forward to inviting you to the upcoming 4th National Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue, to be held on 29-30 August, 2024 in Vientiane. This forum will convene key public, private, and international stakeholders to collaboratively address priority issues concerning agricultural and forestry investments, sustainable landscapes, and financing agri-food systems.
This national dialogue offers a unique platform to share insights and recommendations with senior leaders. Discussions will center around three key pillars:
- Policy and Governance: Examining current legal and policy framework and action plans promote responsible agriculture and forestry investments, creating an enabling environment for future advancement.
- Green Financing: Raising awareness and highlighting progress in sustainable access to finance – and the move towards “green” finance.
- Towards Best Practice: Exploring how internationally recognized principles (ASEAN-RAI, Agroecology) can foster environmentally-friendly and socially-conscious change on the ground.
We will also be offering two master classes to delve deeper into gender and finance issues with leading experts. This is your opportunity to engage in shaping the future of responsible agriculture in Lao PDR through hands-on learning and open dialogue.
