We are excited to announce the launch of the Mekong Region Land Governance (MRLG) Photography Contest, a platform designed to spotlight critical land governance issues across the Mekong region through the art of photography. This contest invites talented photographers to raise awareness and foster understanding of challenges tied to land rights, resource management, and community impact—all while showcasing the region’s unique stories and cultures.

Who can join?

The contest welcomes both amateur and professional photographers who are nationals of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, or Vietnam. Whether you’re an emerging talent or an experienced visual storyteller, this is your chance to contribute to meaningful dialogue through your lens.

Why participate?

By joining the contest, photographers will:

  • Highlight pressing land governance issues that shape lives in the Mekong region.
  • Have their work displayed at the prestigious Mekong Region Land Forum in September.
  • Be featured in official MRLG publications and on the MRLG website, amplifying their reach and impact.
