Workstreams

MRLG employs a comprehensive and collaborative approach, addressing land governance, customary tenure recognition, and responsible agricultural investment in the Mekong region, with gender and climate change as cross-cutting considerations.

At the regional level, MRLG establishes alliances and networks of reform actors guided by the project’s Theory of Change. Simultaneously, national-level workstreams align with specific country priorities. They synergize with regional initiatives, benefiting from evidence-based options and research findings to guide legal reforms and policymaking.

This multi-level approach aims at enhancing land policies and practices for vulnerable communities. MRLG strives to instigate positive change in land governance and agricultural practices across the Mekong region by promoting cooperation and evidence-based solutions.
