In Phase 3, MRLG incorporates two cross-cutting themes: “Gender Transformative Land Governance” and “Climate Change and Tenure Security.” These themes emphasize addressing gender disparities in land tenure and promoting gender equality by integrating gender perspectives into land governance practices. Climate Change and Tenure Security highlights the connection between land tenure, climate change mitigation, and adaptation, emphasizing the importance of securing land rights to enable communities to adapt amidst environmental uncertainties. By addressing these themes, MRLG aims to advance equitable land governance and enhance resilience in the face of complex challenges.
