From March 27th to 29th, 2024, the Land Information Working Group (ກຸ່ມແລກປ່ຽນຂໍ້ມູນເລື່ອງທີ່ດິນ), supported by MRLG, conducted a half-day training module on gender and land governance in two villages in Vientiane Province. The initiative aimed to assess the effectiveness of a training manual developed by the community of practice (COP) on gender and land rights, gain insight into women’s land use rights, and address gender equity issues at the grassroots level. The workshop sought to empower both women and men, strengthen community resilience, and provide a platform to share legal insights and proposals for gender-equal land policies. The aim was to foster inclusive participation and advance gender equality across all aspects of community life.
